Broader web site update
Our company works hard to broaden the portfolio and therefore we decided to actualize our web site after a relatively longer period of time.
Within our professional relationship with several real estate developers we created a lot of design work for their projects.
Following projects were added to our portfolio:

Apartmány Lomnica,
Jégého alej,
Nová Lúka.
Together with these projects we created two web presentations for a
Slovak photographer and for an
elementary school of art.

Abyss Studios has been awarded as a winner of the prestigious Microsoft Industry Awards 2008.
Our solution
Portal of Legislative Materials has been awarded as the best IT solution in the National and Local Government Sector in the Slovak Republic in 2008.

Our software development team has gained a new support. Peter Kán, as Programmer, is engaged in development of applications and web solutions and is also interested in computer graphics and computer games development.

We have two new team members!
Michal Rendoš joined Abyss Studios as 2D/3D Artist and Designer after couple years of informal cooperation.
Besided, focused on development of talents, we have engaged Jaroslav Ševčík into our software development team as Programmer.

We have developed a brand new web presentation of renowned real estate development company CRESCO GROUP. The presentation puts an emphasis on both planned and realised projects of the company.

Representative interior apartment visualizations
Abyss Studios is widening its 3D real-estate visualizations portfolio.
We have created representative interior visualizations of a three-room apartment of a development project in Bratislava, Slovakia.

Abyss Studios supported student matriculation ball
Abyss Studios appreciates the all-society contribution of the prominent Slovak educational institutions. Thus, our company decided to support the initiative of students of the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics at the Comenius University in Bratislava, where most of our programmers graduated or continue in Ph.D. studies.
The company donated the student matriculation ball tombola with a valuable gift, 24” widescreen LCD monitor. Congratulations to the winner.

Our new Corporate Identity announced
In order to strengthen the image and clearly present the brand and the values of Abyss Studios, we have focused in continuous development of its Corporate Identity.
We have created a new graphical layout for the basic Corporate Identity elements and will expand it further in line with the company development and growth.

New support to our graphic team
A continuous increase in quality of our people work is essential to reach the very top in our field. In this regard, we are doing our best in forming and extending our team.
Martin Nižnánsky joined Abyss Studios as 3D Artist and Designer in summer 2007. Within the team, he specializes on 3D visualizations and animations creation, postproduction editing, as well as other domains related to computer graphics.

Visualizations and new image of New City Development
We have created realistic 3D visualizations in order to support the real estate developer company in important negotiations on the residential building reconstruction project.
Moreover, within complex project assignment, we have designed a brand new visual image of New City Development represented by new company logo, web presentation, and Corporate Identity.
The project is presented in several categories of our portfolio.

Logo design competition evaluated
Out of 154 designs participated in the logo design competition of Bratislava Self-Governing Region, one of ours made it to the second round and, thus, reached the top fifteen.

Visualizations Demo Reel
In order to push forward the presentation of architecture objects from mere static visualizations, we created a new 3D dynamic videosequence comprising various interior and exterior visualizations.

Logo design competition
Abyss Studios will participate in logo design competition of Bratislava Self-Governing Region.
We consider the competition to be an opportunity for demonstration of our high quality creations not only in this specific area. We will publish our designs on our web page after the official competition results announcement.

New Abyss Studios web page
New Abyss Studios web page was published on February 5th, 2007. The web page was completely designed and developed in-house by Abyss Studios team.
The new web page presents the company, its activities, developed solutions and technologies. It also comprises images gallery presenting Abyss Studios’ designs, solutions and products.
